A GUIDE FROM PELAGUS VITAE

When They
Come Home.

A parents' guide to recovery in the years 18 to 25.

Your son or daughter has come out of treatment. Something particular happens in the years between 18 and 25 that most recovery guides miss. This one is written for the parents of young adults navigating that specific window.

Common questions.

Is this too late if my child is already 25?

The window is developmental, not a birthday cut-off. If your person is 25–27, most of the guide still applies.

My child is under 18. Is this still useful?

Some of it. But the guide is calibrated for the 18–25 developmental window specifically. For under-18s, we recommend reaching out directly at colin@pelagusvitae.com.
